What we do
At Bayside Adult Speech Pathology, we assist adults with communication concerns including assessment, diagnosis and management of speech, language and voice disorders as well as assessment and management of swallowing difficulties.
About us
With over 15 years experience, our founding director and certified practising speech pathologist, Val Maynes, has worked with people with communication and/or swallowing difficulties including those caused by neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, dementia, and brain injury. She has also helped people with voice disorders, chronic cough, and those seeking to modify their accent.
Val not only provides a service to the individual with the communication or swallowing difficulty, but supports family, friends, employers, and carers through education.
